wep4you develops software for budget planning.
The product is called wep4budget. It helps you create, track and evaluate budgets. Developed in Austria, operated on servers in the EU.
Security as part of development
Security checks are a fixed part of our development: automated tests and code analysis. Users receive only the rights of the roles you assign to them.
- Permissions per role and function, optionally per cost centre

- Personal account for every user, invitation by one-time link
- Uploaded files, documentation and AI chats are stored encrypted per tenant
Where your data lives
The SaaS solution runs with a European cloud provider with data centres in the EU. The database and files are stored there. For Enterprise, we define the environment together with you in the contract.

Plan, track, evaluate
wep4budget is a platform for budget planning. You create budgets, release them and see plan, booked expenses and variance in the dashboard at any time.

AI assistant and import
The AI assistant answers questions about your plan and actual data and shows variances; available from the Standard tier. It uses external AI providers.

Why I build this
Excel is not enough for proper budget planning. According to the BARC Planning Survey 24 (2024), 76 % of the surveyed companies still use Excel for planning, alone or alongside other tools.
At the same time, the use of AI in planning is growing. According to the BARC Planning Survey 26, 27 % of the surveyed companies use AI for forward-looking planning. A year earlier it was 11 %.
That is why I build wep4budget: budget, invoices, receipts and attachments belong in one system.
The controlling export hands over plan and actuals per line item as Excel or CSV. The database and files are stored in the EU, because data sovereignty matters to me.
I focus on one product: wep4budget.

Who it is for
Heads of IT and CIOs
You are responsible for IT budgets and must be able to explain every figure. Permissions control who may view and change budgets, and the journal shows what was changed.
Managing directors in mid-sized companies
You run a mid-sized company and need an overview without a planning department of your own. A checklist in the app guides you through master data, budgets and the first booking. Teams of up to 50 active users are covered; above that, Enterprise is a good fit.
CFO and controlling
You need reliable figures and variances at a glance. The controlling export delivers plan and actuals as Excel or CSV, and accounting reports are also available as PDF from the Standard tier.

We develop and operate the SaaS solution ourselves, on servers in the EU.
You define the operation
For Enterprise, we define the environment together with you in the contract.
Data protection as a feature
Data protection features are part of the product, in the SaaS solution as in Enterprise: data export, account deletion, consent log.
Traceable and exportable
You import data from Excel and CSV and export reports. A complete data backup as an SQL dump is available from Premium.
